Through mass crusades and international evangelism KLM International is making a difference. You can be a part of this exciting ministry by becoming a monthly partner. You may not be able to go yourself, so why not help us take this wonderful message of hope and salvation to the nations of the world? Neja and I believe that God brings people like you into our lives for a divine purpose, to participate in His plan of partnership.

What is Partnership?
Partnership is defined as "an association of two or more people who contribute money and share in the profits." A partner is "one who has a share or part in anything with another, a partaker."

God's plan has always included Partnership!
God has always relied on partnership to accomplish His plans. After He created the garden, He placed His first partner, Adam, in charge of caring for it. Later, He approached Abraham and made a covenant partnership with him. This partnership gave God the legal right to bring His Son into the world and gave Abraham blessing and favor. After this, Moses and God partnered to set Israel free and put the law into effect with its blessings and curses. The law made a way for man to approach God and established the coming Christ with its types and shadows. None of this would have been possible without the participation or partnership of God's men.

King David put an eternal law into effect concerning partnership.
Let us look at an example from the life of David. During a particular battle, David and most of his men were away from home. When they returned they found their homes had been ravaged and pillaged. Their wives and children were taken away into captivity. Even their dogs were gone. In the pursuit of their loved ones, some of the men, weary from the trip, weren't able to continue. So David took advantage of this situation.

The army wasn't able to pursue at the necessary speed due to all of the goods and supplies they had taken with them from the last battle. So David ordered that the supplies be left with the exhausted men while the others pursued the enemy. After lightening the load, David's fighting men were able to move swiftly. They soon caught up with the enemy and conquered them.

Regaining the lost possessions, they returned to the men whose assignment was to guard the supplies. Some of the fighting men began to complain and say that those who guarded the possessions had not done as much as the men who had gone into battle. Soon others joined in and decided that the men who stayed didn't deserve as much of the reward or spoils from the victory. After all, the men who stayed didn't actually fight. David right then and there declared by the Spirit of God an eternal law. He said in 1 Samuel 30:24, "The share of the one who stayed with the possessions shall be equal with the share of the one who went into battle. All will share alike!"

Partners make the victory possible!
David realized how important the job of guarding Israel's only food and water was. If the battle had failed, the fighting men would have felt differently returning to three meals and a cot. You see, if they had continued pursuing the enemy carrying all the supplies, they would have never caught them. The men that stayed with the supplies actually made the battle and victory possible. That's the basic idea of partnership!

Those who send and take care of the needs of others make it possible to engage the enemy. Without a battle, there would never be a victory. Without partners, we could never go into battle. The law that David put into effect is still active today! As for the Lord, the reward of those who send and enable others to go into battle is to be the same, or equal to those who engage the enemy face to face: "All will share alike!"

Romans 10:14-15 asks, "How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? And how can they preach unless they are sent?" To reach the lost and dying in the world we need to be sent by faithful people like you. By becoming a partner you send us and enter into a wonderful promise from God.

A promise to partners and senders.
We are all familiar with Philippians 4:19, "And my God shall meet all of your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus." However, many of us take this scripture out of context. Let's look at verses 15 through 17 which say, "not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only...you sent me aid again and again when I was in need. Not that I am looking for a gift, but I am looking for what may be credited to your account." The promise that God would supply all of your needs out of His riches in glory pertains to partners and, in this case, to those who partnered in Paul's ministry by sending him aid again and again.

What Paul was saying here is, "You have made it possible for me to preach the gospel. Don't just receive my gratitude but also realize that because you share with me in declaring the gospel you are building an account in your name. And because of your partnership my God will take care of every one of your needs out of His riches in Glory!

Now as to your account, there are no withdrawals needed because of your partnership. My Father just lets your account grow and increase. When you need something, it will be taken out of His reserves not yours. What an exciting promise! If you're helping promote the Gospel of Jesus Christ, this promise belongs to you as much as it did to the Philippians. God's plan is partnership and the benefits of partnership are attainable by anyone who will act on His Word and His promises.
